The short version: Wordfeud Lens does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything the app does happens on your device. This page explains what that means in detail.

1. Information we collect

None. Wordfeud Lens does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, device identifiers, usage analytics, or telemetry. The app does not require an account, does not ask for your email, and does not include any sign-in flow.

2. Photos you choose to analyze

When you tap "Analyze screenshot," iOS presents you with the standard Photos picker. You choose which image to analyze. The image is processed entirely on your device by the app's on-device vision and solver engines. It is never uploaded, never sent over the network, never shared with us, and never shared with any third party.

The app does not retain the screenshot after analysis. When you close the results screen, the image is released from memory.

3. Network activity

Wordfeud Lens does not make any network requests as part of its core functionality. There is no backend, no cloud service, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no advertising network embedded in the app.

The only situation in which the app may open a web page is if you tap one of the credits links on the Settings screen — these are user-initiated links to the open-source dictionary project pages, and they open in Safari, outside of the app.

4. What is stored on your device

Wordfeud Lens stores a small amount of state on your device using iOS's standard user preferences system:

Your selected language (English or Swedish).

That's it. This data is stored locally in your app's sandbox and is automatically removed when you delete the app.

5. Third-party services

Wordfeud Lens does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking services. There are no third-party SDKs in the app.

6. Children

Wordfeud Lens is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. App Tracking Transparency

Wordfeud Lens does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies. The App Tracking Transparency prompt is therefore not shown.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a future version of the app, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Material changes will also be noted in the app's "What's New" release notes on the App Store.
